The Logistics Coordinator will perform daily support to warehouse employees and management working in the office and will need to provide excellent customer service not only to our customers, but also to fellow DSV employees, while maintaining a positive attitude, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
For this role, the Logistics Coordinator will need to:
- Maintain all training records and documentation for personnel (HSE, TSA, MHE certificates and test results)
- Implement and support Health and Safety initiatives in the warehouse including collecting documentation, performing safety trainings and ensuring OSHA requirements (QHSE Specialist) are met
- Maintain Microsoft Teams pages
- Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Serve as a point-of-contact for vendors and DSV peers/managers
- Schedule meetings and events, maintaining agendas
- Create documentation relevant to billing activities
- Keep an inventory of supplies and orders new materials as needed
- Proven multi-tasking skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve
- High level of initiative and ability to positively interact in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
- Ability to adapt to the quickly changing pace of a logistics environment
- Professional demeanor
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and…knowledge of Teams is a definite plus!
