AWS / CES is looking for multiple Production Supervisors.
Temp to Hire Production Supervisor
Location : Fort Wayne, IN
Shifts Available :
- 2nd Shift : 3pm-11pm (plus shift handoff time)
- 3rd Shift : 11pm-7am (plus shift handoff time)
- 8-hour shifts typically, Monday-Friday
- Straight time for Saturday & Sunday if needed, with OT after 45 hours during the week
Pay : $35 / hr
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Coordinate employee activities
- Assist in quality system items
- Drive continuous improvements in production
- Respond to and resolve employee problems
- Maintain customer quality standards and production quality
- Ensure high standards for housekeeping, safety, and maintenance
- Uphold discipline within the department
- Maintain daily timekeeping and production records
Qualifications Desired :
- Bachelor's degree in business or 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience
- Knowledge in machine set-up
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Kanban
- Ability to lead projects
