Job Overview
The purpose of the Supply Chain Planner III Demand role is to support planning and workflow forecasting, production, purchased products, and distribution of CCCI's full goods for our internal sales system. Priorities are placed on making sure we have the products available to sell and in the right locations while maintaining a low level of inventory across the system. This position is customer-focused and communicates and acts upon internal and external customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships by gaining customer collaboration, trust, and respect. The role must be able to effectively interface across multiple levels of the organization to be successful. Supports innovation execution processes including new SKU launches, product conversions, in and outs, and exit strategies, for their perspective functional area. Works cross-functionally with Product Supply Planning on project initiatives to support best business decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manages high-profile chain accounts and partners with key Customer Development Managers (CDMs) supporting inventory initiatives and collaborates with CCNA partners on promotions to achieve a forecast consensus
  • Collaborates on crucial demand project milestones to drive distribution, manufacturing, material, and deployment planning for assigned SKU lifecycle item initiatives
  • Serves as a resource to direct teammates, provides cross-functional training support, and onboard job shadowing for new hires
  • Reports to external Suppliers on order projections for future demand forecast alignment. Identifies accuracy issues, determines root causes, and develops solutions to improve accuracy
  • Supports onboarding larger segments of business and, or new emerging markets
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in 4 or more direct functional team processes
  • Applies acquired best practices for managing purchased forecast product for seasonal SKU activity, any disturbances in customer shift in demands, school, and beach markets
  • A lead resource in resolving complex reconciliation
  • Innovation, Project Management
  • Co-manages new item launch assignments between Demand, Production, and FF) teams. Leads to resolve any hurdles, and communicate key milestones to management and support the in-market date
  • Serves as a contributing task force member for Sen SKU to support SKU lifecycle management
  • Collaborates with Product Supply Planning key functional areas to review sales against forecast to adjust any demand production to support current sales trends
  • Provides analysis to support the keep or delete decision process. Supports the exit of products being deleted
  • Reviews and revises initial forecast based on published information from Trade and Marketing teams
  • Shares detailed forecast information with internal and external key partners, warehouse managers, Market Unit (MU) teams and the Portfolio Management Committee (PMC)
  • Collaborates with local sales teams and gain load in feedback utilizing SharePoint forms
  • Utilizes the weekly tracking to monitor the 6 weeks SKU progress and adjust forecasts according to sales trends
  • System and Process Management - A Planner Level III for Demand, Fulfillment and Production Scheduling
  • Serves as an expert in maintaining system settings for assigned customers and, or locations
  • Supports direct teams in resolving complex analysis for root cause and resolutions affecting visibility and processing in multiple systems
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Management, or other Bottler or Transportation Industry
  • Experience with ERP, Planning Systems, Supply Chain, Procurement. Strong written and presentation skills
  • Performs robust evaluation of sales forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory management
  • This role coordinates multi-facets of supply planning to support new item SKU launches, strategic collaboration to support sales initiatives, and drives optimal forward deployment planning to support our internal and external partners' execution strategies
  • An active member with Product Supply Planning cross-functional projects and task force initiatives
  • Ability to identify and adapt to company SKU strategy changes, coordinate, and drive efforts within direct team to support these objectives
  • Required to have a broad understanding of all CCCI Supply chains with the ability to represent the key disciplines to internal and external customers and key CCCI partners
  • Lead resource for their functional area for complex research, support, and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and fact-based problem solver
  • Proven ability to create an initial 13-week forecast to support raw materials or purchased items
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (4 years)
  • Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or Industrial Engineering
