We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Facilities Building Maintenance Technician!

Responsibilities:

• This position ensures the proper maintenance and layout changes of all property, buildings, offices, labs and manufacturing areas; takes corrective action and repairs walls, floors, ceilings, exterior buildings, parking lots and landscape as necessary; provides appropriate notification and documentation of all work performed.
• General maintenance and repairs within a GMP manufacturing facility.
• General maintenance duties including all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, painting, wall repair, floor repair, carpeting, landscape and janitorial work. 
• Responsible for building maintenance and repairs including, roof tops, exterior building repair and painting, flooring, carpeting, wall repair for GMP and non GMP areas, electrical covers, light bulbs, plumbing and overall internal and external building aesthetics.
• Responsible for completion of work orders, purchase requisitions and other documentation related maintenance and repairs. Responsible for maintenance of interior and exterior signage and security barrier.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirement:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• One year experience in a pharmaceutical environment or 5 years in a similar environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of general maintenance.
• Basic computer skills with Word , Excel and Outlook.
• Skill in operating tools such as circular saws, table saws, power drills, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds pushing pulling climbing etc. Overtime and shift work may be required.
