Job Summary
The internship provides the opportunity to gain first-hand experience within the Business Operations group of a pharmaceutical company that produces both branded and generic medicines. Exposure to various roles within the multi-discipline pharmaceutical industry will also be obtainable. The Intern works closely with the Rhodes Pharma leadership team as well as pipeline product teams to support the development and execution of activities and projects as assigned while adhering to relevant regulatory guidelines, company procedure, company Code of Ethics, and acting in alignment with our Values: Collaboration, Integrity, Courage and Innovation.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop knowledge of roles and functions within the Rhodes Pharma generic business and the various project teams.
  • In conjunction with Executive Director, monitor Rhodes Pharma pipeline programs updating dashboards as necessary for governance meetings.
  • Monitor progress vs plan with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations for various stakeholder audiences.
  • Provide operational support of Business Operations group and ad hoc activities such as generic Business Development workstreams.
Education and Experience Requirements
Undergraduate in biology, chemistry, communications, and/or related areas.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A practical and proactive problem-solver
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment and the ability to work independently.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross functional team members.

Additional Information
  • Able to work 3-5 days per week (preferably during core office hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) for the equivalent of a semester
