Description:

Develop new or improved products or processes and manage all aspects of the development process including resource planning and budgeting.

Directs product develop and product quality improvement initiatives and supports field sales personnel and customers, including resolving product quality complaints.

Reports directly to the Mill Manager and has responsibility for approximately 6 quality technicians.

Works closely with 3 Paper Machine Managers to support day-to-day operations and developing long term improvement strategies to drive results in all aspects of the business.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

8-10 years plus in the Paper Industry

Paper Science or Chemical Engineering degree preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

SAP experience is a plus

ParcView/Pi experience is a plus

Good interpersonal skills; ability to positively influence people

Good organizational skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills
