Description:
The Process Engineering Technicians are going to be working on the engineering team supporting the engineers to implement, develop and improve manufacturing lines. The specific processes they will be working on will be extrusion, lamination and blow molding. They will be required to work on the floor where they will need to go to a machine and study efficiencies, help with installation of new equipment and adjustments, develop processes and help to maintain the equipment.
Experience:

• Associates Degree in Engineering (OR 2 years recent experience as Engineering Process Technician)
• Experience implementing new processes, improving and troubleshooting processes
• Experience working hands on equipment
• Mechanical Aptitude

Other day to day responsibilities:

• Support the Engineers in the measurement and analysis of processes, developing tooling
• Root cause analysis
• Implement SOPs
• Perform start or restart of equipment
• Provide technical support to operations
• Work closely with the Manager and Engineering team to review reduction for cycle and scrap through controlled planning as it relates to process and other technical issues
• Make calibration changes
• Support troubleshooting initiatives
• Engineering reporting
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products are meeting company standards
• Collaborate with all of engineering and other teams to optimize production flow
