Description:

Write, simulate and debug HDL code for FPGA design.

Write and debug microcontroller code.

Use Matlab and Simulink to model electrical power systems.

Use both digital hardware and software knowledge to optimize system design.

Work with electrical power engineers and controls engineers to develop advanced power control firmware

Writing code and designing internal circuits. The job requires experience working with software that interfaces with FPGA to microcontroller.
