Description:
SCOPE:
Candidate will be responsible for handling cad documentation for projects that are being worked on across several groups. The candidate will be utilizing Autocad to open up designs to review and to ensure documentation is correct and changes are correct. They will be utilizing Microsoft Excel to track changes and ensure that documentation is up to date, and they will be working in an ERP system (client is moving to SAP) to house the data that they are collecting.
The candidate will be interfacing with the engineering team and they will also be working with the production team as they are the middle person to make sure that communication on designs are being implemented. Within Microsoft Excel the candidate will have to make sure the drawing transmittals are accurate and reflect the revision dates that are listed. The ERP will be used for the work orders and tracking each part. Autocad will be used to update the title blocks of the drawings.
HOURS:
Average 50 and could be up to 70 when it is busy
TRAVEL:
Less than 5% will be local if they travel
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVES:
-Autocad (Candidate must have opened up autocad and used it to review drawings)
-Microsoft Office (Candidate must be able to utilize Microsoft Excel for data tracking, they will be using the other suites for various purposes)
-Mechanical Aptitude (Candidate must have some background doing anything related to mechanical ex. fixing cars, wrenching, etc.)
-Communication (Candidate will need to be able to interact with various team members and communicate any changes that occur)
NICE TO HAVES:
-SAP experience (The client is moving to this as their ERP system)
-Inventor (this is the main design software for the client)
