ACT SECURITY INC. is Hiring a Security Operations Center Officer Near Austin, TX

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $19.00-$21.00/per hour

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Security Operations Center officer (SOC) to join the ACT Security Group team! The selected individual will monitor schedules and reports to ensure there are no gaps in security coverage across all our sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
  • Assist officers in the field. 
  • Monitor and operate computers systems regularly, as assigned.
  • Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Organization skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • 1 Year SOC experience preferred.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. ACT Security Group will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
