ABOUT THE JOB
The ACLU seeks a full-time position of Campaign Data Services Specialist in the Development Department of the ACLU's National Office in New York, NY . This is a hybrid role that has in-office requirements of two (2) days per week or eight (8) days per month.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Associate Director, Campaign Data Services , the Campaign Data Services Specialist is responsible for developing and executing audience selects for donor solicitations and cultivations, working closely with Analytics, Supporter Marketing, and Digital teams. Working closely with stakeholders in Retention, Upgrade, Sustainer teams, Planned Giving, and other teams, the Associate optimizes donor audiences and testing for campaigns and conducts quality control. Data literacy, a customer-focused mindset, and comfort collaborating with diverse teams are essential for success in this position.
YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Using a combination of tools such as Hightouch, advanced SQL queries, and other technologies as they evolve, design, update, and implement solutions for extracting data from the ACLU data warehouse to fulfill monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc campaign data requests according to specified mail plans
• Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of counts and selects specified by stakeholders
• Update audiences, design and run ad-hoc SQL queries for audience planning and ad-hoc donor data lists as needed
• Create and maintain supplementary SQL tables as needed
• Maintain and update campaign membership records in Salesforce
• Understand ACLU policies and procedures and collaborate with colleagues in Supporter Marketing, Analytics, and Privacy & Data Governance to ensure that data pulls meet organization protocols
• Partner with Supporter Marketing and Analytics teams in evaluating and identifying opportunities to improve data quality and processing procedures for campaign data
• Proactively detect, analyze system, tools, or data concerns and work closely with Analytics team to troubleshoot and resolve issues

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Prior experience working with direct marketing data
• Advanced skills in SQL
• Hands-on experience working with donor data and databases, preferably Salesforce
• Understanding of fundraising campaigns (renewals, appeals, reinstatements) and audiences in low and mid dollar fundraising programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with c3 and c4 fundraising
• Experience working at complex national or international nonprofits
• Experience with Salesforce platforms
• Experience with Hightouch audiences

COMPENSATION
The ACLU values equity, transparency, and clarity in pay. Consistent with the ACLU's compensation philosophy there is a set salary for this role. The ACLU also has a locality adjustment policy that applies to salaries. The annual salary for this position is $88,030 (Level I), reflecting the salary of a position based in New York, NY. This position is subject to a hybrid schedule of 2 days/week or 8 days/month in-office.
