Our client is looking for a product and project coordinator on a 3 month contract at 30 hours per week. After the 3 months, there is the ability to go to 40 hours per week and stay on long term!

As an integral part of our Product and Marketing team, you will be responsible for building project schedules, monitoring the workflow of product, creative, marketing, and content teams, assigning project-specific tasks, handling logistics, supporting the team by removing roadblocks, and updating internal stakeholders and partners on project progress and status. Your main objective in this role is to streamline internal workflows, ensure all product, creative and marketing deliverables meet our quality standards, and see that projects are executed on time and delivered according to expectations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organizing the project workflow and distributing work equally to all participating team members
  • Working closely with internal teams to determine the necessary project budgets.
  • Building our creative, product and marketing project schedules.
  • Providing the necessary work resources to employees.
  • Determining deadlines for each stage of ongoing and future projects and ensuring that each team members respects and adheres to them.
  • Enlisting freelancers or temporary contractors to help with bigger projects.
  • Communicating with vendors to get a better understanding of their project-related preferences or update them on project status.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with licensees and partners with strong communication skills.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for creation and management of product and marketing project schedules.
  • Ensure all project deadlines are met on time.
  • Ensure that all requests are filled out properly, approved by the appropriate manager, input into weekly job schedule, and archived correctly when completed.
  • Help establish nomenclature and numbering system to ensure all subsets of project files and folders are archived properly and easy to access.
  • Manage department monthly budget and complete variance reports.
  • Coordinate communication and projects for licensees, subsidiaries, and distributors (including shipping and billing)
  • Source vendors, materials and obtain price quotes while working within budget.
  • Coordinate production of product packaging, hangtags, and label updates
  • Order and maintain sample sets for house and content photoshoots.
  • Issue purchase orders and maintain purchase order files as required.
  • Review, acquire proper signatures and process all invoices for department.
  • Proof and edit copy for printed and digital marketing material, websites and other projects as required.
  • Place PR request and promotional product orders or handoffs, monitor distribution and budget.
  • Create consistent branded templates for all internal and external communication, including contractor agreements, model releases, final art submissions and artist agreements.
  • Assist in event production and coordination.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Product, Marketing Traffic Management or an
    associated position
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, and others) is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and people management skills
  • Eagerness to work on multiple initiatives at the same time.
  • Solid decision-making skills and a sense of prioritization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel) and project management software [Basecamp, Trello, Asana, Jira, etc.]
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30 - $38 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
