Early Childhood Clinician/Therapist

This position provides great work/life balance as you can write your own schedule! (Travel is limited to Cuyahoga County!)

The ideal candidate is an experienced Social Worker who has clinical, community-based experience working with young children and their families.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, LSW or LPC license and related clinical experience
  • Master’s degree in Social Work and LISW or LPCC license preferred
  • DC:0-5 training a plus, along with the ability to identify social-emotional and developmental challenges within infants and toddlers
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and family dynamics
  • Experience with home/community visiting
  • Capable of adapting and reacting quickly and effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude while supporting clients and addressing concerns
  • Cultural competency to develop a working partnership with a diverse clientele
  • Bilingual abilities a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide home and community-based behavioral health services for infants and children up to age 6 and their families
  • Complete comprehensive behavioral assessments
  • Build partnerships with parents, young children and an interdisciplinary team to address relationship and behavioral challenges at early ages
  • Advocate with and on behalf of clients and their families
  • Contribute to a foundation for life-long social and emotional well-being for young children
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and clinical guidelines
