Acentra seeks a Provider Relations Field Representative/Trainer to join our growing team.

Position Summary:

As an Acentra Health Provider Education & Relations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing provider contractual requirements to foster positive relations and elevate the customer service experience. In addition, you will serve as the key conduit for provider education coordination, driving quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring a thorough understanding of updates to automated review systems.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide courteous and efficient service to providers and external customers, swiftly resolving provider issues
    • through comprehensive education and utilization of relevant resources.
    • Engage in direct communication with providers, identifying and addressing significant concerns through collaboration with provider liaisons, and offering tailored educational resources or training as needed.
    • Develop and recommend training modules, provider manuals, assessments, and pre- and post-evaluations to enhance educational initiatives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address provider inquiries and maintain service quality in alignment with contract requirements.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, quality assurance programs, and information systems.
    • Provide helpline support, requiring extensive research and resolution skills.
    • Supervise the Helpline Coordinator, providing ongoing training and performance evaluations.
    • Regularly update web content to ensure the provision of current and relevant information.
    • Design and implement continuous training programs for staff to ensure proficiency in the latest policies, procedures, and industry best practices, fostering a culture of learning.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and healthcare technology advancements, and provide regular updates to the team to keep the organization ahead of industry standards.

Required Qualifications, Skills, Knolwedge and Experience

    • Minimum of 5 - 6 years of experience in provider relations/education within a healthcare setting.
    • Bachelor’s degree in communication, education, or a related business field with a healthcare background is preffered. A Master’s degree in these fields would be nice to have.
    • Proficient in creating and delivering educational training courses using web-based or other interactive technology platforms.
    • Preferred knowledge and work experience with Medicaid providers.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is advantageous.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills for complex issues and a track record of applying knowledge to process improvement and provider issue resolution initiatives.
    • Proven ability to effectively teach and train others through in-person, telephonic, or web-based/interactive technology methods.
    • Customer service expertise, including experience with helpline service programs, supervision of staff, and serving as a subject matter expert (SME).
    • Professional demeanor in all interactions, coupled with excellent public speaking skills and experience in delivering webinars and PowerPoint presentations.
    • Proficiency in writing policy and procedure manuals, job aids, newsletters, and website content. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $53,000 to $62,000 annual salary. Based on our compensation program, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level. Thank you.
