Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Employment Type: Long Term Contract
Experience: 2 years minimum
Minimum technologies required: Java Backend, Spring boot, Microservices
Roles and responsibility
- Excellent Java / software design and development skills.
- Experience with industry standard java application frameworks (such as Spring/Spring Boot) and rich internet JavaScript frameworks (such as Angular)
- Solid database (SQL) skills. Experience with Oracle and managing a mix of relational and unstructured data a plus.
- Experience with cloud (Kubernetes) and messaging (Kafka) technologies preferred.
- Buy-in to team-based development (Scrum) and shared ownership / responsibility for code.
