The primary purpose of your job position is to direct the day-to-day functions of the operation in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provide to our passengers at all times.

Administrative Functions

• Review financial statements, activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
• Direct and coordinate operational activities of businesses or departments concerned with providing services to the client.
• Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern the safety of the operation.
• Maintain written job descriptions for each driving position in accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, OSHA, and other pertinent laws governing job positions.
• Monitor suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits.
• Prepare employee work schedules.
• Complete and maintain safety records for all vehicles and employees at facility.
• Ensure all new hires are certified and credentialed through State brokers.

• Train and certify all new transport technicians on all equipment and securement training.

• Collaborate with the Executive Director on all personnel issues, questions, problems or requests.
• Provide weekly recap of all projects/assignments at the weekly cluster meeting.
• Maintain a good public relations program that serves the best interest of the operation and community alike.

• Delegate a responsible staff member to act on your behalf when you are absent from the operation.
• Assist Executive Director in the review and development of performance evaluations.
• Assist transport technicians in the use of policies and procedures, and establish a rapport in and among departments so that each can realize the importance of team work.

Fleet

• Ensure all vehicles are registered, insured and are current with State broker credentials.
• Monitor all vehicles to insure they are properly equipped to handle all types of transports.
• Ensure all vehicles are properly functioning and adhere to the maintenance schedule.
• Inspect vehicles for safety, cleanliness, driver performance and maintenance reasons.
