JOB SUMMARY:

At True Velocity a Maintenance Technician Providing Expertise in an injection Molding Environment to support production operations The duties of this position will include Preventative Maintenance and repairs of molding Machines and all Related support equipment as well as installation of new equipment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure the consistent operation of production equipment and machines by performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
• Complete and process work orders generated by ERP system related to machine repairs and or preventative maintenance, ensuring the history of the actions performed for further analysis and decision-making.
• Check all auxiliary equipment including the dryers, chillers, hot runner controllers, etc.
• Analyze, identify, and document the root cause of machine and device failures, proposing and executing corrective actions and improving them to avoid reoccurrence.
• Maintain spare parts and maintenance supply inventories, including ordering and receiving from vendors.
• Assist in building maintenance and coordinate outside resources when necessary.
• Participate in multidisciplinary improvement projects.
• Interact regularly with external vendors, peers, and management to pursue continuous improvement of overall operations and promote a teamwork focused environment.
• Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain Critical facility equipment such as air compressor/dryer, process water systems and material delivery equipment.
• Provide maintenance support for all robot types (Cartesian, 6 axes, Scara, Delta)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in reading and following drawings, manuals, and mechanical / electrical / pneumatic schematics
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot moderately complex problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of automated controls, PLC Programming, HMIs and ladder logic
• Ability to perform root cause analysis, compare and investigate information including recommending and implementing a resolution.
• Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to modify basic reports, documents and spreadsheets in MS Word, and MS Excel
• Experience with accessing, updating and general use of an ERP Systems
• Able to perform in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Must possess the ability to communicate, motivate, participate, and train team members, to promote growth and quality in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of auxiliary equipment - hydraulics, mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots (Cartesian, 6 axis, Scara and Delta)
• Motivated, organized, eager to learn and possess a positive attitude toward the job.
• Excellent listening skills and ability to follow instructions as well as provide directions on a step-by-step basis.
• Experience with facilities Maintenance and Equipment

Working Conditions: Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
