About the Cardiac Unit the Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Abrazo Central Campus is a unit where interdepartmental relationships and accomplishments are celebrated. When you have a good team, you can do anything.

In your role as a professional nurse, you will:

• Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function.
• Position is responsible for a clinic unit.
• Position coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's.
• Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers (i.e., pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, hospital administration).
• Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements.
• Trains and mentor’s staff.
• Special Skills: Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively implement change and assist with the management of departmental budget. Must be able to independently make decisions in high-stress situations.

Qualifications:

Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.

Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current State of AZ Nurse license or an RN license from a compact state with multi-state privileges.
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 3 months of hire or transfer into job.

Preferred Experience
2 Years relevant clinical nursing experience in ICU, PCU, Cardiac, or TELE
BSN preferred.
Management experience or two years supervisory.
Certification in specialty area of practice preferred but not necessary.
