Job Description:
Support network communications, including data, voice, and video services. Support 24/7 network performance monitoring, incident detection, network security functions and problem resolution. Design, develop, test, and maintain network communications, including data, voice, and video services. Analyze, plan, and propose network solutions to meet the as-is environment’s bandwidth needs; scale appropriately in the event of a surge. Duties:
-Manage local LAN/WAN at all field sites in Hawaii
-Monitor/manage network devices via Spectrum and Cisco Prime Infrastructure
-Maintain network diagrams
-Provide troubleshooting locally and remotely at mainland sites (Layers 1-3)
-Manage IP addresses via IPAM (Bluecat)
-Configure/Install Switches, Routers, Access Points
-Provide support during network outages
-On call support Be familiar with:
-Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
-ACL's
-DHCP
-STP
-VLAN/SVI
-DISA STIG's
