Job Description: We are seeking a Construction Project Manager/Engineer to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting and implementation.

Responsibilities: The Construction Project Manager/Engineer’s role is to assist with the planning, organization and management of the day-to-day operations, as well as any other responsibilities that the Project Manager and Senior Staff assigns accordingly. Additional responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager/Engineer include:

• Assist the Operations Manager, the Project Manager, the Superintendents and Senior Staff
• Oversee certain aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Maintain and adhere to company standards of safety; ensuring that required documentation is filed
• Maintain and establish job processes (RFI’s, submittals, etc.)
• Supervise closeout process
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

Qualifications & Requirements: To qualify for the Construction Project Manager/Engineer position you must have strong knowledge and background in commercial developments, mixed-use and multifamily luxury condominiums. You must have excellent verbal and management skills in order to prepare cost estimates for bidding purposes. Additional requirements of the Construction Project Manager/Engineer Project Manager include:

• Proven experience as construction project manager/engineer
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Design or Engineering
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in construction management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project and strong computer skills with a variety of software packages; and familiarity with construction management software
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results
• Working knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends
• Consistent attention to details with the ability to identify discrepancies
