Abbey Senior Health is currently accepting applications for a full-time & part-time Dishwasher. We are a 55 bed, skilled facility located on the beautiful campus of the Village of St. Mary’s in O’Fallon, MO. Our dedication to providing the highest quality care for aging adults in a faith-based environment has always been at the heart of everything we do. 4-8 p.m. & weekend hours.

Essential Functions:

*Understand the importance of customer service and be willing to learn resident/relative satisfaction techniques.

*Maintain steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean dishes, utensils, and pots and pans.

*Scrape soiled dishes, utensils, and pots and pans.

*Place dishes, utensils, pots and pans into dish machine, operate machine, and observe the travel of dishes through the machine.

*Sort clean dishes, utensils, pots and pans and transfer them to appropriate storage containers.

*Maintain a clean work area.

*Assess and report problems and breakdowns in dish washing machinery.

*Observe infection control procedures related to the Dietary Department.

*Observe facility safety policies and procedures.

*Observe facility disaster preparedness procedures.

*Observe Resident’s Rights policies and maintain resident confidentiality.

*Perform other related duties as directed by the Food Service Director.
