Sales of Hoisting Solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets Create, implement, and review the Hoisting Solutions Sales strategy for the North American Market Continue to grow ABB’s Mine Hoist business in the North American Region according to business plan Exceed orders received (OR) & gross margin budget Build strong relationships with key external influencers and customers leveraging ABB’s strengths to capture new business opportunities Participate actively in the proposal process and be responsible for ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions Responsible for ensuring all processes and approvals are respected for all proposals offered to customer Work closely with global hoisting sales team and act as primary point of contact for sales planning, performance reporting and monitoring Support front sales team with customer discussions as well as technical and marketing information Understand thoroughly North American Hoisting market so to align and drive sales and offering strategy Participate in the negotiation of contracts with customers Use standard reporting tools to accurately identify future opportunities and measure the progress Promote the ABB Mine Hoist Portfolio by strengthening external communications in coordination with the Marketing & Communications team Plan and participate in dedicated customer events and trade shows Generate best in class face to face customer interface and industry event engagements. Deliver high quality presentations at customer meetings & at trade shows. Prepare white papers & deliver workshops Develop strong relationships with market stakeholders, influencers and industry partners in the region and internationally Work with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
The Process Industries Division serves the mining, minerals processing, metals, cement, pulp and paper, battery manufacturing, and food and beverage, as well as their associated service industries.
