YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

You'll work a full-time Monday through Friday schedule between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

As a Class A Master Mechanic, you'll apply your advanced skills as a technician, honed through experience as a B-Class general service technician, to various repair areas. You'll take on the role of lead technician, collaborating with the Service Manager in various repair tasks and overseeing apprentice technicians as assigned. Your role involves efficiently and accurately executing outlined repair orders following factory standards, diagnosing malfunctions, and coordinating with the parts department for necessary components. Responsible for documenting all performed and recommended work, including tagging warranty-covered parts, you will assess vehicles for additional safety or service requirements. Conducting thorough vehicle examinations, documenting all work performed, and participating in ongoing manufacturer-sponsored training programs will be essential to your success in this position!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR CLASS A MASTER MECHANIC

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; OR 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of automotive repair experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience as a B-Class general service technician
• ASE certified
• Ability to participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Great leadership skills
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
