Who We're Looking For - Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic pursuing Clinicians:

  • TRAINING in areas such as trauma-focused CBT, DBT, play therapy, substance abuse treatment, and certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist is available as in house and external opportunities align with budget.
  • OPPORTUNITY to work with specialty populations, such as birth to five, survivors of domestic violence/sexual violence, and those with issues related to substance use.

Salary: $55,120 - $67,600 (depending on licensure/experience)
Hybrid Schedule : 3 days in office, 2 work from home days. Schedule options are 10am - 7pm or 8am - 5pm; Monday - Friday (weekdays only)
REMOTE OPTION ALSO AVAILABLE (must reside in Arizona)
*Associate level clinicians working towards independent licensure may be eligible for AZBBHE individual and/or group supervision from an internal Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Location Hiring: Glendale, AZ or Mesa, AZ
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in behavioral health related field
  • License with the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners a plus
  • Experience working in related field
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling in office, home, school, or other community settings in accordance with client/family strengths and needs. Provide varied verbal and physical crisis intervention and counseling.
  • Achieve client care monthly production standard.
  • Provide clinical expertise to the Child and Family Team or other collaborative based model and serve as a point of contact and communication while working in congruence with the team process.
  • Bring Child and Family Team or other collaborative based model together and serve as a facilitator and/or team member of these meetings. Arrange that the service plan is carried out.
  • Complete Assessments, both initial assessment for intake of clients and updated assessment, at least annually, or as clinically indicated to meet client need.
  • Develop Individualized Service Plans, develop Crisis and Safety plans.
  • Evaluate and continually monitor client/family progress in meeting goals and anticipated outcomes.
  • Administer clinical screening/tools at various intervals to track client outcomes to understand what if any adjustments to treatment/intervention are required to help achieve client's desired outcome.
  • May administer client satisfaction surveys and provide case management/coordination of care services as needed.
  • Document (verbal/written) and submit significant and routine paperwork such as progress notes, statistical reports, daily activities, upcoming events, special concerns, varied incident reports, etc., as required by the program and submit to appropriate personnel.
Compliance Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance
  • Clean 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to obtain Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card immediately upon hire (if there are any uncertainties whether an applicant may have to go through an appeal process; they are encouraged to complete that process prior to applying as an invalid card will result in termination of employment)
