2nd shift hours: 3:00pm -; 11:30pm / until workload is complete, OT when workload volumes are high
TUESDAY -; FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WHEN NEEDED
Shift ends when workload is completed
Each pick line usually splits the workload for the day
EOW are busy work days as volumes are higher at the EOW
12 hour days can occur when volumes are high.
Communication is provided when workload is high, on hours that will be worked.
Attendance is crucial, especially during the first 3 months
Saturday work shifts when needed, due to workload volumes
The facility is 150,000 sq. ft. and is not climate controlled.
Peak season is Nov-Dec during which hours worked are increased per day.
Productivity standards are set in place to meet customer requirements after probationary period
A gradual, weekly improvement is expected.
Each picker & stacker must pick/stack at a rate of 500 cases per hour; after their 3 months
After 1st month @ 250 CPH, after 2nd month @ 400 CPH and after 3rd month @ 500 CPH
LMS / productivity incentives can apply
Role consists of pick to belt with our voice to pick system
Physically picking cases from staged floor pallets to a conveyer line
Physically stacking cases from conveyer line to a pallet
Properly utilizing our voice to pick equipment and ring scanner devices
Physical movement through shift
At times, Pickers can walk around a conveyer belt for anywhere from 10-14 miles throughout a busy day

Role Purpose : What will you do in this role? Our Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock from one area to another within our warehouse environment. You'll load and unload shipments of various sizes, and you may use certain types of equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.Our environment is team oriented, fast paced and safety focused. We move products that people need and want. At DHL, YOU will be an essential part of everyday life. Key Accountabilities :
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Assist in physical inventories.
Complete daily inspection of equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Certificates/Security Clearances/Other Required Education and Experience :
Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
Six months warehouse experience, preferred
Six months forklift operation experience
