Job Description: Job Summary: The Epiq Mass Tort Team is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our fast paced team and develop technical and end user product documentation. Job Responsibilities: Plan, create, and modify technical documents, including user specifications, manuals, and test plans to facilitate the software and product development. Interpret complex software/product features and functions and translate them into a concise, relevant, and readable format. Consult software and technology subject matter experts to review, modify, and revise complex documentation for all departments, employees, and audiences. Proofread and edit content created by team members and other writing staff. Integrate user-friendly content in illustrations, graphs, and infographics for enhanced user experience. Write, review, and organize online help content to facilitate end-users. Indulge in user research for feedback, revisions, and improvement in technical content. Researching and fact-check information to ensure consistency in new business responses and information surrounding the company Consolidate and edit responses from individual contributors to prepare final responses within Epiq brand standards – and with a focus on a consistent, singular voice Proofreading, performing quality assurance of written product to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency with external communication standards and to ensure material is error-free. Project manage responses and ensure all follow prospect/client instructions, deadlines, and all other protocols. Ability to multi-task various projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Ability to interact with various levels of senior management and throughout the organization Helps define optimum and most efficient workflow process and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement. Job Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain composure under pressure Editing and formatting proficiency Business to Business and experience with RFP responses a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio Experience with Adobe InDesign desktop publishing software desired, but not mandatory. Experience with Adobe Photoshop software desired, but not mandatory.
