Job Title: Process Technician - Lithium-Ion Battery Production Location: Holland, MI The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday on 2nd shift (3PM-11PM) or 3rd shift (11PM-7AM). We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Process Technician at our highly automated lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production process and ensuring the efficient operation of our automated equipment. A successful candidate is also one who learns quickly, is technically oriented, and utilizes creative problem solving to provide rock solid solutions. Responsibilities: Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime Monitoring the production process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity Provide immediate response and resolution to issues occurring on the line, escalate issues as required to maintenance, engineering, and operations teams Communicates machine status and provides training to machine operators Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the manufacturing process Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve manufacturing processes and optimize production efficiency Maintaining accurate records of changes and job setups Adhering to Clarios’ safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety within the workplace Properly handles and dispositions scrap product as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Some technical education or coursework preferred Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment, preferably with automated equipment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to cleanroom protocols Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Who we are Clarios is the global leader in advanced, low-voltage battery technologies for mobility.
