Job Title: Finance Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operations Manager to lead our financial support and claims processing team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate transaction processing, supporting audits, and maintaining efficient financial operations in line with policy and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team in daily finance operations, including payments, claims, and transaction postings.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of payments, financial records, and general ledger entries.
• Monitor compliance with financial policies through checks and audits.
• Handle escalated enquiries and appeals related to claims and grants.
• Review and improve SOPs and internal processes to drive operational efficiency.
• Support financial reporting and external audit requirements with accurate data.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance performance and capability.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business goals and operational needs.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CPA is a plus).
• At least 3 years of experience in finance operations, accounts payable, or similar roles.
• Prior experience with government grants (e.g., PSEA, UTAP, SFC) is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of financial controls, transaction processing, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Ability to adapt to changing systems and process improvements.

Working location: Braddell until Dec 2025. Will be at AMK office from Jan 2026 onwards.
