Senior/Piping Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Understand Contract Specification.
• Understand Marine Class and Regulatory Requirement, Piping, Special Item and Valve Material Specification.
• Understand P&ID and Piping routines.
• Good knowledge in preparing Technical specification and Material take off (MTO).
• Review and comments technical proposal from vendor.
• Technical Bid Evaluation for procurement.
• Monitor procurement process to meet Project Schedule.
• Review vendor certified Document (VCD).
• Monitor piping bulk material usage, surplus material and warehouse balance utilisation.
• Interface with vendor, other discipline lead, procurement, production, commissioning.
• Attend factory acceptance test (FAT) if required.
• Able to perform piping procurement related activities with no or minimum supervision.

Requirements

• Prefer to have at least 5 years of piping engineering related working experience or similar activities as describe above.
• Prefer to have experience in Offshore/Shipyard project, Rig building/Ship building.
• Prefer to have experience in FPSO project, both topsides & marine.
