Junior Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve technical queries, and address the solution design needs from your fellow colleagues and stakeholders
• Perform analysis across both systems and business processes to establish a good and aligned understanding the root cause of any open issues / underlying requirement
• Develop use case, and option-impact assessment to determine and recommend the best solution to adopt across our core insurance, workflow, data and automation platforms
• Elicit and document clear business requirements, ensuring the needs of both internal and external parties are reconciled.
• Contribute to the design of systems, preparing use cases, functional / interface specifications, and other design artefacts
• Work alongside third-party providers to ensure the scoped solution fully meets the business need and achieve the envisaged benefits
• Perform peer reviews for project artefacts to ensure specified standards are attained
• Provide support for testing, implementation, and training activities to ensure the seamless delivery of change
• Share experience and develop best practices along with your peers locally and regionally to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the department and grow your own skillset

Requirements:

• Intermediate working knowledge of SQL is a must, preferably in Oracle PL/SQL. Experience working with relational databases will be valued.
• Curious and open minded to develop technical and soft skills.
• Self starter and pay attention to details
• Experience in the use of data analytics and automation platforms preferred but not essential.
