IT Project Lead (Network)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of network implementation projects across multiple customer environments.
• Coordinate with clients, internal engineers, and vendors to ensure timely and successful deployment.
• Evaluate and assign new work requests, and monitor daily activities of Network Engineers.
• Align change activities with customer-approved maintenance windows to reduce operational disruption.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, prioritizing tasks and ensuring swift resolution of issues.
• Generate and present weekly project status reports.
• Manage hardware and service requests with third-party vendors and track progress to resolution.
• Acquire deep understanding of unique customer environments and custom network configurations.
• Oversee live network cutovers and address any real-time implementation challenges.
• Promote compliance with customer processes and support the internal team in maintaining SLA and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network operations, network implementation, or IT project management.
• Proven track record of managing technical projects in a client-facing environment.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including Data, Voice, WLAN, Cloud, and Security technologies.
• Familiarity with network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Experience with change management processes and ITIL frameworks is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple concurrent priorities.
