Youth Mentor Kapa Haka Hastings

We’re seeking student mentors to work in Hastings District schools. You need experience working with groups of children and one on one in Kapa Haka.
You need to be caring, an active listener and creative with children. By encouraging children to look after one another and imparting leadership skills you can become a much needed role model for children wanting to discover their cultural identity.
The Trust provides training enabling you to evaluate your progress in unique ways. These are part-time paid positions and you need to have a full NZ driver’s licence. We also pay travel expenses.
