Senior Analytical Chemist

A CDMO specializing in supplying active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceutical raw materials to the global pharmaceutical industry is looking to add a Senior Analytical Chemist to their R&D department. They are known for its commitment to quality, reliability, and customer service, and it plays a crucial role in supporting the development and production of pharmaceutical products worldwide. The company focuses on sourcing, developing, and distributing high-quality APIs to meet the needs of its clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, developing, and validating analytical methods used to test the quality and purity of chemical compounds.
• Conducting experiments, analyzing data, and troubleshooting to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the methods being developed.
• Validate analytical methods to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development projects.
• Stay current with advancements in analytical techniques and technologies.
• Document and report findings, including method development processes and results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and training to laboratory staff on developed methods and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Chemistry OR related field with 5 years of industry experience in method development/ validation is a must.
• Strong background in analytical chemistry and method development/ validation.
• Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for method validation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize analytical methods.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
