And you always focus on delivering superior customer service to your partners throughout the business What You’ll Do: Classification of Footwear, Ready To Wear (Women’s & Men’s), and Travel Goods Communicate with customs attorney, and customs brokers for classification guidance Support maintaining corporate classification charts and guidelines Partner with global teams for classification of all product to achieve consistency Familiar with all major U.S. trade programs such as GSP, FTA, FSE; all global trade programs Perform post-entry auditing of brokers’ entries Assist in filing of PEA, PSC, Voluntary Tenders, Protests Support cost actualization variance reporting to identify errors/discrepancies of duty payment Support proper entry of F&W and CITES shipments Ad hoc reporting and customs projects as needed Work with legal to represent the company to US and Canada Customs. Responds to requests for information regarding import transactions Support import compliance issues, CF28, CF29, Quantity Adjustment filings and communications with Customs Brokers and CBP Maintains formal, company-wide import-export policies, procedures, controls including but not limited to ensuring all bonds and permits are secured and maintained Updates import-export compliance manuals - standard operating procedures regulations Participates in new product development groups, identifying import-export requirements early in the product development process as well has support tariff engineering Support analysis and administration of first sale program Administer FTZ process and ensure accurate reporting Manage the coordination of hand-carry shipments for runway shows, celebrity fittings and seasonal samples Familiarity with Assists You’ll Need to Have: 5 years of experience with customs classification.
