Contracts Management Analyst
Washington DC Metro (Hybrid)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contracts Management Analyst to provide essential contracting support to a Navy/Marine Corps contracts office. The successful candidate will play a vital role in both pre-award and post-award activities, contributing to the efficient execution of contracts, adherence to regulations, and successful program outcomes. If you possess a solid understanding of DoD/DON Contracts Management and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply for this impactful position. This position requires at minimum an active DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to inform decision-making processes.
- Analyze industry trends, pricing, and potential suppliers to support the contracting office's pre-award activities.
Pre-Award Document Development:
- Develop and document pre-award materials, including Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Request for Proposal (RFP).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives.
Contract Award Documentation:
- Document Contracting Officer business and award decisions.
- Prepare comprehensive contract award documents, including purchase orders, delivery orders, and task orders.
Expenditure Tracking:
- Track and monitor contract expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Provide regular updates on financial status and potential variances.
Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Support:
- Review and analyze Contracting Officer Representative monthly reports.
- Collaborate with CORs to address any issues or concerns related to contract performance.
Program Review Meetings:
- Attend and document program review meetings, capturing key decisions, action items, and relevant discussions.
- Provide support in ensuring program goals align with contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of demonstrated experience in DoD/DON Contracts Management.
- Strong understanding of federal contracting regulations and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in contract award documentation and expenditure tracking.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
