Mammoth Freighters is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Fort Worth, TX
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team in the Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas area. This person is responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. Aerospace or manufacturing experience is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data (3-way match)
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
- Understand expense accounts
- Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
Job Requirements and skills
- Must have proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist
- Must have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Must be proficient in English and in MS Office
- Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Experience in Epicor software training a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
