Performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Being a Vascular Technician requires an associate degree in medical sonography or equivalent. May perform therapeutic procedures such as pseudoaneurysm compression.
