The CRA Business Development Manager ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Manages community/economic development activities and initiatives for a designated business market area. Being a CRA Business Development Manager actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Explores and evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues ... and needs. In addition, CRA Business Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to increase lending activity. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The CRA Business Development Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
