We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and experienced individual to join our Corporate Counsel! In this role, you are responsible for independently negotiating all types of commercial agreements (e.g. sales, partnerships, vendors, etc.) with a primary focus on outbound SaaS commercial agreements such as MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and DPAs, and advise the business on risk. You will have a working understanding of privacy regulations and their application to our business and commercial practices, including CCPA/CPRA, NYDFS, and GDPR, and the ability to translate that understanding into redlines to articulate in negotiations.

Factors for Success
- US licensed attorney in good standing with a state bar association
- 4 years of commercial transactional work in a fast-paced environment
- Deep experience negotiating SaaS or technology agreements with businesses housing sensitive personal information (PII or PHI)
- Experience in practically navigating privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA) and security issues in a commercial negotiation context
- Experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating complex commercial agreements with a solution-oriented approach.
- Experience managing workload in a high-pressure environment with competing demands.
- Willingness to jump in and help colleagues to get things done and an interest in learning new things
- Maintains composure in fast-paced, challenging environments
- Partner with cross-functional internal teams on various other commercial legal projects
- Experience with contract lifecycle management systems is a plus (SFDC, Linksquares, Docusign)
- Experience with CIPP/US and/or CIPP/EU is a plus
