Senior Manager of Business Intelligence

The Role

As the Sr. Manager of Business Intelligence, you will be the bridge between raw data and strategic action. In the fast-paced world of SaaS, data is our north star. You will lead a team of analysts to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive growth, optimize our decision-making, and support execution of Zywave's strategy.

We are looking for a leader who is as comfortable writing complex SQL queries as they are presenting a quarterly performance narrative to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the BI roadmap, ensuring our data stack and reporting aligns with company objectives.
• Player-Coach: Mentor and manage a global team of BI Analysts and Architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and curiosity while also being responsible for outcomes of individual projects.
• SaaS Metrics Ownership: Manage the reporting and enhancement of core SaaS KPIs, including ARR, retention, GTM metrics (bookings, lost business, pipeline), and product usage.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Product, and Finance to identify opportunities to improve visibility into business performance and deliver insights.
• Data Governance: Establish and lead a data governance committee ensuring a "single source of truth" by maintaining high data quality standards and clear documentation.
• Self-Service Enablement: Build and maintain intuitive reporting via Tableau and Salesforce that empower non-technical users to make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in BI or Data Analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership/ management role.
• Proven experience in a SaaS environment and understanding of common strategies, metrics, and challenges, ideally in a private-equity-backed setting.
• Expert-level SQL and experience with Snowflake database architecture and maintaining integrations with Salesforce and ERP systems.
• Deep experience leveraging visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to quickly summarize insights and key takeaways from complex datasets and present to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional partners and maintain professional and results-focused attitude.
