As a Dishwasher at Zuppardo's Family Market, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen. Dishwasher responsibilities include washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with general kitchen cleanliness. To be successful in this role, you should be reliable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to cleanliness and teamwork. Ultimately, you’ll help support kitchen operations and ensure our food service areas meet the highest sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
• Stable employment history, dependable and reliable
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines properly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish and kitchen areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with trash removal and recycling
• Help with basic kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed
• Maintain clean floors, sinks, and workstations
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and supervisors

Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications
• Previous dishwasher or food service experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Neat and clean appearance
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time up to 8-hours and sometimes exceeding
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Open availability due to varying shift times (required) including weekends and holidays
