- Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting with food handling during busy service periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth operations during peak hours and special events
Experience/Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, food handling standards, and sanitation practices is advantageous
- Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately in fast-paced settings
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be willing to work in hot, humid work area
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift minimum of 20 lbs.
