Bakery Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products and exceptional service. You will assist in various tasks including pastries, dessert & cake preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of baked goods, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, including equipment and utensils.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.
• Collaborate with team members to meet goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.

Skills/Requirements

• Restaurant/Kitchen experience
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to details and commitment to quality.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with food industry standards and practices is an advantage.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable working in a warm and busy environment.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
