We have 7 expansive facilities with complete showrooms in Allenton, Cedarburg, Franklin and Watertown. Zuern Building Products & Design Center is currently looking for the right person to join our Material Handling team at our Franklin location. This is a seasonal/summer position. Must be available Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays from 8am-12pm. This role offers the right candidate the potential to develop new skills with career advancement opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Loading of materials to be delivered.
- Load customer orders.
- Stock and maintain product in bins.
- Put away stock and special order returns.
- Organize, stock and maintain yard.
- Basic housekeeping. ie: sweep aisles, straighten piles, pick up scraps.
- Care of product against damage.
- Attention to safety procedures at all times.
- Driving or delivery when needed.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in loading the correct product.
- Other duties upon request by a manager.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 to over 100 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Alert, focused and detail-oriented.
- Physically and mentally fit
- Self starter who works well independently as well as the ability to work well with others when needed
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
