MDM Architect

Job description – MDM Solution architect

Location – Hybrid – At least 3 days a week onsite in Erie, PA

Role Summary:

As the MDM solutions architect you will play a key role in enabling the MDM strategy for Erie

insurance. Provide architectural guidance on MDM initiative, while managing multiple

stakeholder priorities. Lead the multiple value streams encompassing MDM including but not

limited to data quality, data governance and integration to upstream and downstream systems.

Interpret business needs, assesses solution choices, apply technology, and provide project

guidance within a long-term enterprise lens and create future-state architectures.

Lead high level design sessions, capturing the results in artifacts, and ensuring the architectural

design is realized through delivery for multiple enterprise stakeholders. Design and implement

scalable, modern data architectures that ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across

the organization. Collaborate closely with data engineering, analytics, and business partners to

align MDM initiative with enterprise goals and deliver trusted, high-quality data solutions that

power decision-making.

Collaborate with team members for technical validation during design and planning phases and

monitor project execution and interpret architectural tradeoffs occurring during delivery.

Experience & Skills

• More than 15 years of experience in delivering enterprise solutions for large BFSI

organizations

• At least 8 years’ experience in implementing enterprise data transformation programs

• Proficiency with industry leading Master Data Management (MDM) tools such as

Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, or IBM InfoSphere and experience in leading end to

end implementation

• Proven experience architecting MDM solutions and participating in end-to-end

implementation journeys at scale within major organizations.

• Good program management experience including leveraging tools such as RAID, JIRA

• Excellent communication and inter personal skills

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise data architectures that

promote data quality and consistency.

• Strong understanding of data integration, governance, metadata management, and data

stewardship principles

• Experience with data modeling, APIs, ETL design, and modern cloud data platforms (AWS,

Azure, or similar

• Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines to define strategy and deliver scalable data

solutions
