Market & Operational Leadership
- Oversee all fleet and operational activities for the Austin market
- Maintain full ownership of P&L performance, financial results, and cost controls
- Establish operational priorities aligned with company strategy and growth goals
- Ensure fleet availability, preventive maintenance, and operational efficiency
- Partner with maintenance teams to optimize uptime, safety, and vehicle lifecycle costs
- Drive continuous improvement in fleet utilization and service reliability
- Recruit, lead, coach, and develop management teams, employees, and Independent Contractors
- Partner with HR on workforce planning, engagement, and leadership development
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and service excellence
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, city officials, and community stakeholders
- Represent the company in local partnerships, contract discussions, and public forums
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget with a focus on profitability and efficiency
- Use KPIs and performance metrics to guide decision‑making and operational improvements
- Support contract negotiations, new business opportunities, and market expansion initiatives
- 5–10 years of senior leadership experience in transportation, fleet operations, or general management
- Proven success managing full P&L responsibility
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead high‑performing, cross‑functional teams
- Strategic and analytical mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
