We are seeking a seasoned VP of Fleet Operations to lead our Austin operation with full responsibility for operational execution, financial performance, fleet management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities as a VP of Fleet Operations:
- Provide end‑to‑end leadership of fleet operations for the Austin market
- Own and manage full P&L performance, driving financial results and profitability
- Recruit, develop, coach, and lead employees and Independent Contractors
- Ensure fleet reliability through preventive maintenance, asset utilization, and operational efficiency
- Champion safety, compliance, and regulatory standards across all operations
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers, municipal leaders, and community stakeholders
- Utilize KPIs, operational metrics, and data insights to guide strategic decisions and continuous improvement
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget with an emphasis on cost control and optimization
- Support contract negotiations, renewals, and new business development initiatives
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, service excellence, and operational discipline
- Partner closely with Human Resources on workforce planning, engagement, and talent development
Qualifications of a VP of Fleet Operations
- 5–10 years of senior leadership experience in fleet operations, transportation, operations, or general management
- Proven success managing full P&L responsibility
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills
- Demonstrated ability to build high‑performing teams and drive operational excellence
