Road Supervisor – Help Drive Safe, Reliable Transportation
zTrip is North America’s largest taxi and paratransit transportation provider, proudly serving 38 cities and continuing to grow. We are currently looking for a dedicated Road Supervisor to help uphold our safety standards and support daily field operations.
Position Overview
As a Road Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting drivers, promoting safety, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Through field observations, video monitoring, and direct communication, you will help identify issues, reinforce expectations, and keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities of a Road Supervisor:
- Provide on‑site assistance and real‑time support to drivers
- Collaborate closely with the Driver Support team
- Monitor in‑vehicle camera systems and retrieve video footage when needed
- Conduct field safety audits and compliance inspections
- Respond promptly to accidents, incidents, and safety‑related events
- Perform on‑scene investigations and collect reports and statements
- Assist with driver coaching, training, and ongoing safety initiatives
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions to support operations
Qualifications of a Road Supervisor:
- Experience in transportation or a related field preferred
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, calm demeanor in high‑pressure situations
Schedule & Pay
- Full‑time position: 40 hours per week
- The first 4-6 weeks will be a flexible training schedule including early mornings and overnight shifts
- Must have reliable transportation
- Current shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday
- Flexibility required to cover team members’ time off
- Starting pay: $22.86 per hour
