Position SummaryAs a Driver Road Supervisor, you will provide hands-on support to drivers in the field. You'll respond to incidents, assist with operational issues, monitor safety performance, investigate complaints, conduct vehicle inspections, and help ensure company policies and standards are followed.
This role combines driver support, safety oversight, roadside assistance, coaching, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities of a Driver Road Supervisor:Driver Support & Operations- Assist drivers with operational and service-related issues.
- Answer questions regarding routes, procedures, and company policies.
- Communicate driver concerns and operational updates to management.
- Promote professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Respond to accidents, breakdowns, emergencies, and service disruptions.
- Evaluate situations and coordinate appropriate assistance.
- Complete incident reports and collect photos and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all reports are submitted accurately and on time.
- Observe driver performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct ride observations, field audits, and vehicle inspections.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and corrective feedback when needed.
- Reinforce safety policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Inspect vehicles and safety equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Verify compliance with company standards and safety requirements.
- Check cameras, electronic devices, and onboard technology.
