What You’ll Do as a Transportation Recruiting Coordinator:
Lead Driver Recruitment
- Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified driver candidates
- Establish recruiting goals and consistently meet or exceed hiring targets
Outreach & Candidate Engagement
- Implement creative outreach initiatives to identify and connect with top driver talent
- Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact, delivering an excellent candidate experience
Hiring & Onboarding Support
- Host informational sessions and orientations for prospective Independent Contractors (ICs)
- Guide candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle—from first contact through onboarding and vehicle assignment
Process Management & Reporting
- Track applicant activity and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
- Provide regular recruiting updates, insights, and performance reports to leadership
Retention & Team Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Retention Manager and internal teams to support seamless onboarding and long‑term driver success
- Build positive, professional relationships with drivers and office staff
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist with additional projects as needed
What You Bring as a Transportation Recruiting Coordinator:
- Previous experience in recruiting, hiring, sales, or a related field (preferred)
- A self‑driven, goal‑focused approach to work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Reliability, initiative, and a strong sense of accountability
